Hotel Royal, Krakow

The hotel is conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk from the Jewish quarter and Jewish restaurants. The rooms are modern, clean, and of a decent size, but unfortunately, there was an awful smell present. The service was a bit mixed, with one staff member not very welcoming, but the others were great, offering room service, package/parcel services, laundry, and valet parking. The location is absolutely perfect, very close to all 'must-see' places in Krakow, including the Wawel Castle, Old Town, and Kazimierz. The dining experience was of a very high standard with self-service options, but cold dishes were a downside. Overall, a mixed experience with some notable positives and negatives.
